"Front Porch Inspirations"

Momma often told me

Of a place she liked to go

Filled with friends and family

With faces all aglow.

They were clapping hands to music

With joy, they sang their songs

Praising the name of Jesus

Even Grandpa sang along!

The preacher spoke of Jesus

And how He came to save

The lost and undone sinner

How His life for all He gave.

She told of the rejoicing

As lost sinners walked the aisle

And gave their hearts to Jesus

As the preacher gave the call.

She told how stained-glass windows

Seemed to glisten from within

And the bells were gently ringing

As the lost were saved from sin.

Each time I hear a bell toll

I can almost see

Grandpa and my Grandma

Hand in hand with family.

Beckoning to others

Our Country Church welcomes you

Feel the presence of the Lord

Worship freely as you choose.
